About Us
Emu Park SLSC is a volunteer-based organisation committed to beach safety, surf sports, and community service. Located on the beautiful Capricorn Coast.
We were formed in 1956 with the club house being constructed in 1960, primarily built by members of the club and the clubhouse was opened on the 11th of December by the Mayor, Rex Pilbeam, 1960.
We’re proud of our inclusive, family-friendly culture and welcome members of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you’re a nipper, cadet, active patrolling member, or social supporter, you’re part of the Emu Park family.
